    Join us for our Career Centre Webinars throughout the month of May. Attend all four, or pick and choose which webinars are relevant to you. 

    May 8: Marketing Your Transferrable Skills 

    Conveying your skills' relevance requires that you understand your strengths and know how to leverage them for the job. Participate in this workshop to learn to articulate your skills on your resumé and in interviews.

    May 15: Interview Success

    Learn how to successfully prepare, present and stand out during the interview process. This session will offer up tips and tricks on ways to reduce pre-interview jitters and ways to maximize your performance during the interview.

    May 22: Create Your Elevator Pitch and Network Like a Pro

    Networking is about making connections, developing leads and building relationships. This webinar will teach you how to network, why personal brand is important and how to describe yourself through developing an elevator pitch.

    May 29: Maximizing Linkedin

    Creating a professional online presence is essential in today’s interconnected world. Participate in this webinar to learn more about LinkedIn and to find out about LinkedIn’s most helpful features and tools.

    All four events will be hosted on zoom and run from noon to 1 p.m.

    Join Laurier Alumni on the New Blue Bar deck to watch the Toronto Blue Jays take on the San Diego Padres! Alumni will have exclusive access to the New Blue Bar deck with a semi-private bar, table seating, and bar rails!

    Your ticket includes one drink, light snacks, and a seat for the game located in Section 215.

    Join us on Thursday, May 1st for the annual Legends of Laurier Football Gala at Lazaridis Hall

    Join us on Thursday, May 1st for the annual Legends of Laurier Football Gala at Lazaridis Hall located on Wilfrid Laurier's Waterloo Campus (75 University Avenue West, Waterloo).

    The Laurier Football Gala raises money for the growth and development of the football program, coaching support and enhancing the student-athlete experience. Each event will also induct seven members to the Legends of Laurier Football, 1 for each decade of Laurier Football plus a lifetime inductee.
